There are thousands of people in our area who have a real estate license, many for personal use, some part time.  There is a saying in the business "20% of the Agents do 80% of the Business".  It's really not that hard to get a license, the hard part is building a business over the years through proven results, hard work and dedication, constant attention to the local market, and most importantly through the referrals of satisfied past clients.  I am a full time professional Realtor.  I don't do anything "on the side".  I take this business very seriously.

Real Estate is not Rocket Science.  It just takes a lot of hard work, strong negotiation skills, in depth market knowledge and a true desire to help people.  My job isn't to get you to the moon, it's just to get you where you want to be next!

Why do I mention this?  Because your home and your financial future is important.  Just as you take care in choosing a health provider, an asset manager, a child care provider, or even a car mechanic, why wouldn't you take the same care in finding a professional to sell what is likely your largest financial asset.
